The pre-built gaming PC market remains active in late 2026 as retailers adjust pricing on high-performance systems. Newegg is currently listing the ABS Stratos II Ruby for $2,549.99. This represents a $450 reduction from the original list price.
The system is built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR5 memory. ABS is Newegg's private label, which keeps the unit prominently displayed on the retailer's website. Tom's Hardware identifies this specific model as the lowest-cost option featuring the RTX 5070 Ti on the platform. The outlet anticipates that inventory will move quickly due to the discount.
The processor features eight cores and utilizes AMD's 3D V-Cache technology. This design increases the L3 cache to 96MB. A larger cache reduces the need for the chip to access slower system memory, which helps maintain steady frame rates. While the chip no longer leads every benchmark, it remains near the top. Tom's Hardware notes that no current Intel processor matches the gaming performance of an X3D part.
The graphics card belongs to Nvidia's Blackwell generation. It contains 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. The hardware supports DLSS with multi-frame generation. According to the review, the card handles 4K gaming with ray tracing in modern titles. Users may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games at that resolution. The 16GB of memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found on the lower-tier RTX 5060 and RTX 5050.
The system runs two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB memory modules at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is handled by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. This drive offers enough space for multiple large game installations. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages the processor's heat.
Tom's Hardware called the current price a strong value for the market. The assessment focused on the $450 savings and the pairing of the 9800X3D with the RTX 5070 Ti.
