Fi is currently selling its satellite-connected pet trackers at a reduced price, marking a return to the original cost set at the product's release.

Shoppers who enter the code SCARY at checkout will see the price of the Fi Ultra GPS drop to $209.30. This 30 percent discount applies through October 25 and covers several models in the company's lineup. The reduction effectively restores the device to its launch price, offering a lower entry point for consumers seeking global tracking capabilities.

The Fi Ultra is designed for durability and long-range tracking. It carries an IP68 rating, making it fully waterproof in both fresh and saltwater. The device clips onto a collar or harness and utilizes a combination of LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite coverage to locate pets in areas without cellular service. It can also play sounds and vibrate to signal an animal. Fi states this is the first dog tracker to integrate T-Satellite with Starlink, GPS, and LTE.

Battery performance varies based on usage and environmental conditions. Under normal use, the device lasts up to five days. However, testing in a remote area of South Carolina revealed that the battery life drops to barely two days when the tracker is in Lost Mode. The unit is also larger in size, which may be better suited for larger dogs. A two to three minute update interval was observed during testing, which could impact tracking precision for fast-moving animals.

The hardware requires an active subscription to access tracking features. Fi offers six-month, one-year, and two-year plans, with lower monthly rates for longer commitments. A one-year plan costs $99 for the initial term and $189 for each subsequent year. These plans are valid only within the United States, though there is no satellite coverage available in Alaska.

Other retail deals are active on Amazon during this period. The Kirby Air Riders game for the Nintendo Switch 2 is listed at $48.99, down from its standard $69.99 price. The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is available for $24.99, a reduction from its typical range of $50 to $100. Additionally, the Lego Star Wars Grogu set, a 1,200-piece kit, is priced at $103.99, which is $26 below its usual cost and matches its lowest recorded price.

The Fi promotion ends on October 25. The Amazon discounts for the video game, microphone, and toy set are currently live on the retailer's platform.
