A private jet crashed in a South Florida residential area on Sunday, killing everyone aboard.

Relatives confirmed that Adam Robinson, his wife Helen Sharp, and their children Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, were among the deceased. Robinson founded and led several technology companies, according to his professional profile. The group also included friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, as well as the children’s nanny, Anita Maria Cetina.

The aircraft was a Learjet heading to the Bahamas. Jeff Gregory served as the pilot. A spokesperson for East Coast Jets, where Gregory worked from 2016 to 2017, issued a statement expressing deep sadness. The co-pilot was identified by family members as Nathalia G. Filgueiras, age 20. She obtained her pilot license at age 17 and learned to fly from her father.

The crash occurred in Greenacres, roughly seven miles southwest of West Palm Beach. The impact forced hundreds of local residents to manage the aftermath, with some spending the night in a shelter. The families of the victims issued a statement on Facebook on Monday. They thanked first responders, investigators, and the Palm Beach County community. The families also expressed grief for the pilots’ relatives, noting they are mourning alongside the passengers' families.

The National Transportation Safety Board has not determined the cause of the accident. Investigators expect to remain at the crash site for several days to recover the wreckage. Officials reported that the aircraft began breaking apart before it struck the ground. Debris from the jet may be spread over a wide area.

Weather conditions are a primary focus of the investigation. Heavy rain fell across the region on Sunday. One pilot reported icing conditions at a high altitude during communications with air traffic control.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to reconstruct the sequence of events leading to the crash.
